AFM started using the Net Promoter Score (NPS) at the beginning of 2019, to better understand our customer’s experience. In that time, we’re proud to report our Net Promoter Score (NPS) has consistently remained well above the mortgage lending industry average of +8.
So what is NPS?
NPS is a globally recognised measurement of a customer’s overall satisfaction with a company and is based on answers to a single question:
On a scale of 0 to 10, how likely are you to recommend our company to a friend or a colleague?
According to their response, customers are grouped as promoters, passives or detractors and the NPS is calculated by subtracting the percentage of detractors from the percentage of promoters to generate a score of between -100 and +100. In general, anything above 0 is considered a good NPS.
